Does slightly smushed bread taste different than fully fluffed bread? I mean seriously? I grabbed a loaf of bread off the shelf at Wal*Mart, and unfortunately, the only loaf left in the kind I wanted (Double Fiber, anyone?) was smushed. Just slightly. My madre commented on it, the cashier at Wal*Mart commented on it, and I'm pretty sure my boys at work will comment on it tomorrow.
So really... is there anyone out there in blog land that has experiences with this kind of phenomenon?
